Problem with your Megane? Can't find an answer? Workshop manuals and technical notes are in here.

Car's in the garage today, they're going to try and sort the bootlight/parcel shelf problem. Not major things, but irritating, and when you've just parted with six grand you want things to be right don't you? It does look like the problem with stalling when starting warm has righted itself, I'm thinking all it needed was a good run to clear its pipes and get itself back to speed from being stood on a forecourt for a couple of months. Anyway, we shall see. But on the way to the garage, the right hand indicator started flashing at twice the speed it should and I noticed the car was pulling to the right. So they were added to the problem list when I got there. I hope this doesn't continue...

Another bulbs gone, probably the headlight on that sides indicator. It is odd but when my mates 2.0 Meganes headlight bulb died his indicator also atleast doubled inspeed.

I noticed the car was pulling to the right.

Normally the car will follow the curve of the road. I used to think my Megane was pulling to the right until I realised the road I tested it on actually had a gentle curve which the car followed. If its not it could be one of the wheels has had a whack at some stage putting the tracking out etc. Do your tyres seem to have worn evenly on each tyre?

The indicator was a blown bulb.

They're saying the bootlight wasn't faulty and when they connected it up it worked fine and went off when it should've. I guess I'll have to check that one.

They're redone the tracking and centred the steering wheel. Steering now fine.

The engine's now fine as I said before, must've just needed some use to get everything back up to speed. No problems with it for a few days.

They said they'd sorted the parcel shelf, but when I opened the boot it popped off the pegs, as it did before, so it still ain't right. Don't know how I'm going to overcome that one. Maybe I'll just have to live with it.

Something has to be wrong with that shelf, they normally require a good pull to get them to come off of the pegs?

Don't get me wrong, it takes a good shove to get it on the pegs, but the seats seem to be sitting too tight to the shelf when it's in, so when you open the boot, it just springs off. Just on the one side mind.
