Horn!

Can someone help me out, i cant locate the Horn in the engine bay, sorry if its sounds stupid. :-)

Its a 55 plate 130 DCi.

It's between the bumper and the radiator

And yes the horn does sound stupid. Has anyone beeped someone else for their stupidiy as you have to slam on your brakes and they give you a friendly wave because your Megane goes 'toot' 'toot'? lol. :lol:

The reason i ask is that my Dad has recently had a 06 DCi 130.....the same as mine, he is weighing up changing the horn, but obviously it isnt that easy to get out with all the plastic and trim in the engine bay.

Anybody got any diagrams??

You will need to pop atleast the front trim panel off but its very easy.

Infact grab yourself the Haynes manual, it takes you through this in clear steps.

The one I have doesn't, it tells you to take the bumper off. Not neccessary. :cool:

anyway. the megane gets the Kyle Spence Gay Horn Award 07/08!!!

for those of you who arn't aware the Kyle Spence Gay Horn Award is a fictional award (honestly it is... its not real) i made up there now so i could mock the megane horn. it is seriously dire. worse than dixie horns.... and i hate... dixie horns! :lol:

That is a bit crap. Its even more restricted in my Scenic and you can still get at it by roming the panels. :-)

in find it better to wind down the window and shout as loud as you can, or get a mouse to fart at em....
