Postby amulos » Tue Jan 22, 2008 9:21 pm

hi, probably a silly question, but i've hunted everywhere for an answer- does the megane have parking lights? as i leave my car on an unlit road for a few hours at night.
i;ve lloked in the handbook and it doesn't mention them.
it a 56 plate 1.9 dci dynamique with auto lights and wipers.

any help appreciated
thanks

Yes. Switch off engine, open driver's door and twist left the hand stalk light switch one position/click.

I tried the above solution tonight with no joy, just my sides lights came. Dont know wether it is due to the fact that i have autolights or if its because my footwell lights dont light up when a foot locker is open aswell?

Parking lights are normally just side lights. If you want your dipped headlights to come on, repeat the above procedure but turn the stalk two clicks. Auto lights shouldn't make a difference.

I thought when you say parking lights, it normally is where just one side of your lights come on and thats the side that you have on the road. Never mind.
