Hi,

I recently replaced the front dipped headlights on my 2004 1.6 Megane with Super Brilliance bulbs from Halfords. Since then I have been getting quite a few flashes from on coming drivers. Everythign is fine with the light so I can only assume they appear to bright and are blinding some drivers. Is it possible to change the alignment slightly, if so how?

Cheers

Use the headlamp height agustment scroll wheel on the dash, try position 1 or 2 to lower the hight.

Sorry I was being stupid. Went to have a look and it is really obvious not sure how I haven't spotted it before.

Cheers.

stick them in your main beam and fogs too
if they flash you flash back
it's childish but fun

i had a problem a while back after changing bulbs, started getting flashed so being a git i just flashed em back until one night driving back from work behind a mate he told me my lights were blinding and looked high, anyhoo on inspection i found that the passenger bulb had not or i had not seated it correctly and was at an angle (one of the three locating arms on the bulb body was not quite in its slot). so a quick wiggle once a managed to get the snake arms back in the access hole and all was sorted.

so to sum up have a look at the bulbs and ensure they are seated correctly
