removing wheel arch liner????

hello greetings to all! first time poster. having recently purchased my lovely megane im over the moon with everything except that dipped beam bulb just blew. now using the silly little hatch i took the old bulb out but made a hash and the retaining spring came out as well so in order to replace it need to remove the wheel arch liner. ive removed the screws but what about the large flat plastic things how do u get them out ive yanked one for like 20 mins and ruined my fingers but they dont seem to just pull out???? many thanks for any help.

Only thing it says in haynes is that several plastic clips should be removed with care so as not to snap them!!! it says removal should be self evident Haven't removed the liner myself but usually with these clips it's a case of turning them 90 or 180 degrees and they pop out. I did have same problem with headlight clip coming out but with a bit of fiddling i got it back in. I found removing a plastic cover from under bonnet helped as then i could just see what i was doing from the top.
good luck with the bulb anyway(you'll need it).

Yep,i took the liner off thinking i needed to when removing the front bumper.....those flat clips are a pig to get off...i ended up cutting a channel in a wallpaper scraper then prising them off, theyre fairly soft tough plastic, it was much easier then..

Btw ,i fitted new projector lights to the front of mine but the bulbs are accessable from under the bonnet...
