Electric windows (passenger) only goes down

Hi all,

Having a problem with an 03 plate Meg II, the passenger electric window will only go down even when you pull the switch in the up position. When it gets full down you can hear noises inside the door but it doesn't move. Deadlocking the car raises the window.

Any ideas? Have tried the reset trick put after about 10 seconds the window starts going down again.

If I am looking at a new regulator, any ideas on price?

;-( will take it to Renault for diagnosis and then get part from Ebay if it's the regulator. Looks like about 55 - 60 Quid so not too bad.

Had read on Parkers that there was a service recall? Anyone any ideas?
