Does anyone know if it is an easy job to fit an injector to a 1.9 dci 53 plate??
Is it a straight swap or do i need to do anything else??? :(

The replacement needs to be programmed into the ECU with diagnostic equipment.

I'm not sure monkeymanonk, I was told each injector has some sort of serial code, which must be programmed into the ecu as each injector has its own flow characteristics etc.

Actually quote my haynes manual for the Megane:

"Each new injector is supplied with a unique 16 digit code which specifies its flow characteristics. This code must be programmed into the engine management ECU with a special diagnostic tool, therefore this work should be entrusted to a Renault Dealer."

The injectors on the 1.9DCi are coded as has been mentioned..
If you replace an injector it MUST be re-programmed to the engine otherwise the engine management light will illuminate and will go into "limp" mode..
