You do not have to have it serviced at a Renault dealer to keep your warranty intact; as long as you use a VAT registered garage that attends to all the service items, uses genuine Renault parts and uses the correct grade of oil and stamps the service book you will be alright.
Have you tried any other Renault dealerships for a quote?
Have you thought about trying somewhere out of the London area if that's an option for you?
