found out what the knock was on the meg its the common steering problem should get it done on warranty . Diecided to have a look at the turbo pipes on the meg this morning and found oil in them contacted renault its going in on friday for them to have a look at it watch this space

There is always some oil in these pipes. It comes from the sump ventilation system. As long as the engine consumes less than 1L per 10000 miles you are safe. I don't see any noticeable level drop in between services.
