light fuses on F1 team 230 R26

Hi ,
just fitted new leds from shiny autos, interior looks much better now.
Just a small problem that is growing into a large one.
I manged to blow a fuse replacing the tail gate number plate lights.
Now I have no right handside side light front and rear and no number plate lights.
So the question is, where the F..... ! is the fuse located.
Not in the small fuse box below steering wheel, checked.
Been to Renault and they say it must be under the bonnet with the main fuses.
This seems hard to believe as it's a 30-60 min job just to get to the box??
Also the fuses ,which you can just see are all between 40-70 amp.
A little large for a 5w side light !!
The brake light fuse is only 15amp,bulbs 21w and the fuse is where you would expect inside the car.
So ,either it's true what Renault are saying and they have really built a car that will cost me 60-100 pounds to change a side light fuse.
Or there's a small fuse located some where else.
Can anyone please help ?
thanks
