Hi all !

I own a meganII hatch coupe and as far as i know they all come with the same one way fuel tank cap....
Some criminal thought sliped into my mind and it realy bothers my mind:
Its possible to whom ever realy wants it ,to mess around with it ,open it or even pump my fuel out........ :?

Is it possible to lock it somehow ? or maybe to change the cap to the fueltank so it will remain locked ?

Plllleassseeeeeee save me from my missery ! :-(

if its a newer one, press the lock twice, which should deadlock the cap over the fuel hole

The fuel tank cap togehter with boonet & the doors all are part of the central locking system,so whenever you lock your doors the fuel tank cap is also locked so there is no way of opening it unless you unlock the car or you break it,this is standard in all Meg`s.

Fuel tanks these days have anti syphoning systems which mean it's not possible to get the fuel out the inlet. Also most cars don't allow the fuel lines to be cut and get at the fuel from the tank either - I learned about that one when someone cut them on our Corsa just before Christmas a few years ago (costing us £100 to fix).

It might only be a tourer or Pahse 2 thing, but I have no cap at all, the flap has an inbuilt cap...
