air con / ventilation / climate control

Hello fellow owners!!!

I wondered if you can help, a week ago the control panel / display for my heating / air con went off. Therefore I cannot control the heating / air con etc. When the engine is hot, it is simply hot, when cold it is simply cold!!!

At the same time the stereo stopped automatically turning off when i exit the car, instead it plays for about 10 minutes then makes a 'blip' noise (similar to the noise it makes when the stereo gets too hot and needs to be turned off for a bit) then goes off, i then have to turn it on again manually.

I was thinking it may be some sort of fuse or something, and maybe the stereo thing serves as a reminder that something needs changing.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me.

Have you checked all of your fuses?

I'm sure somebody has posted about this before, but can't for the life of me remember who?

yep changed the fuse that controls vents (the 30 amp green one) but no joy.... i flicked through the posts, but after 15 pages or so....it gets a bit tedious!!!

If u do remember who has posted on this b4, it wud b much appreciated!!!

I had the same problem and found it was due to a blown fuse. Glove box fusebox, second 15 amp fuse from the top in the middle row. Replaced two days ago and still running fine.
