Hello MOC
I’m having a problem with my front indicators. Its a 53plate 1.6. The drivers side just stops working, If I turn the blub holder it starts working again. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this without taking all the bumper off and removing the headlight. I know it’s a bad connection not sure if it’s the headlight or the bulb holder.
Thanks

Yes this is a known problem, and the solution is to replace the whole front light unit, which if your're out of warrnty will cost you big bucks!
Make improvements, not excuses!

how many known faults can one car have
Its out of warranty, is the headlight a sealed unit? Or can I get at the connector. Dam thing everything seems to be a known fault on this car. Are there any “known good points” lol
Does anyone know if I cant fix this how much a new headlight would be? or cluching at straws could I just replace the bulb holder.
Thanks

I had mine fixed under warranty and did not involve whole
new headlight units - just new connectors, so I am sure it will
not be an expensive fix, just fiddly.
If you ask me even when a part is out of warranty that fails
due to 'known' problems that have been well documented then
they should fix it end of story !!
So far mine have been problem free since the repair (fingers crossed)
