Did Anybody has anything like this before??

Hi all,

There is a rubber springy tube covering the wires that come out of the boot to the boot cover,it is located under the back window at the left ,you can see it when you open the boot cover.

I found it today cut at the opening under the back window and Iam afraid that it can let water and dust in.

Anybody has anything like this before?any help will be appreciated.[/img]
