The Mégane II Owners' Club

i have just bought the parts to service my megane 1.5 dci 2003.
by looking at it you need to remove the battery and tray to remove the air filter box!!
is this so??
any help gratefully received.

No mate you don't, there are 2 screws on the top of the air filter box, take these out and the top will slide out towards you.

wicked man that sounds loads easier!!

will give it a try tomorrow!

Taking it out is easy, putting it back in is slightly different.

You have to put a flathead screw driver into the box then slide the filter back in, you'll know what I mean when you do it.
