Auto locking.

My car seems to do this just fine (03) plate. My mates 2.0 VVT (04) is not auto locking if you leave the car unattended for a length of time. Is there a way to enable this or is something up?
His is also a dynamique and has every option under the sun on it.

I think it only auto locks when the RAID is turned on, ie: It needs to auto lock when you drive away.

Do you mean unlocking the car, leave all doors closed and the car will lock automatically?
If this is what you mean, then mine does it....

Oh yeah forgot that bit.
It will only auto lock itself if you un-lock it and don't open and door or the boot. It will not auto lock if you get out and just walk away without locking it.

mine auto locks itself if I opened it with the card without opening the doors or the boonet for a small period of time as for safety reasons it assumes that the unlock button in the card was pressed unintentionly or you unlocked it and then got busy so you forgot to lock it.

Strange as mine autolocks once I've closed the door and walk off. (Takes a moment or so and then the lights flash and locks). The dealer was convinced it was supposed to do this aswell.

Thinking maybe his RAID ain't turned on. Do you hold the lock/unlock button on the console for 5-10 seconds to enable/disable this?
