Hi!
At friday I had a terrifying experience. I was driving my 2004 1.5dci sportstourer at a speed of 70 km/h. Suddenly the bonnet came flying into my windscreen and smashed it. It was luckely no person injuries, but ekspensive damage to my car.
The bonnet havent been opened in a week, so I haven`t got a clue of what happened.
The dealer will investigate, but it`s clear that they will try to put the blame on me.
I read the watchdog artikle about the Clio problem. Anyone who have eksperiensed problem with the bonnet catch at Meagane 2?

That really shouldn't be possible as there are two parts to the bonnet release. Scary stuff.

Not had it on mine. I always check and lubricate things like catches though as I'm not convinced they get done on a routine service. Old habits die hard. Can't find the grease nipples though... :D
