last night I pulled my latch to pop the bonnet. Now the bonnet does not close and the lever in the passenger well is all slack (does not work)
The bonnet does close but pops up that 1 cm for you to open, it does not securely close (I guess needs tension on cable from lever).
I assume the cable from the lever to the latch at the bonnet has gone?
Anyone had this problem, I dear god hope it is easy to repair.
Also because of this when I lock the doors I get that high pitch sound indicating that one of the doors is not closed properly, but it must be a sensor on the bonnet because, when I push down on the bonnet it goes off (but the bonnet then pops up when I let go!!). The sound goes off after about a minute.
I have had problems though with the alarm, it tends to go off now because of this problem but not always.
Any ideas are very welcome
