Sunroof shattered 2006 RENAULT MEGANE DYNAMIQUE VVT CONVERTIBLE

Hi, Can anyone offer any advice or point me in the right direction please. The panoramic roof of my 2006 RENAULT MEGANE DYNAMIQUE VVT CONVERTIBLE, 1598cc Petrol, 2DR, Manual has shattered. Can I get it replaced and if so where would I go for this. I have phoned the dealer, replacement windscreen places but had no joy. I would like to keep the car but fear I will have to sell it for scrap if I cant get this sorted. Thanks

Is the replacement covered by your car insurance, all the glass in my car is. If so, I'd contact the insurance company.
If not, I'd see if I could get a secondhand roof panel from a scrapyard and get a local independent car bodyshop to fit it.

What did the dealer (I assume you mean an official Renault main-dealer) suggest?
