Throttle Body

Hello people, my renault has problems starting up when the engine is cold (it starts and shuts down). It works fine when warm. I suspect it's a dirty throttle body.

I've read that if you disconnect the throttle body wire it may need to be recalibrated otherwise the idle RPM may be quite high. My question is, is it possible to clean the throttle body by leaving it in place so I don't need to disconnect the wires?

Also the 3799A.pdf CLEANING THE THROTTLE VALVES doesn't exist anymore, if anyone has it somewhere it would be appreciated, thanks.
