Hi,
I have a 2008 Renault Megane 2 estate. When I bought the car a few months ago, the nearside rear door would not open from the inside regardless of the child lock setting. Opens fine from the outside, and the windows behave as the windows should according to the child lock setting.
Now the rear drivers side door has started behaving exactly the same way.
When the child lock button is pushed on or off, there is certainly a noise in both doors which sounds like something is happening in there.
Would that be two identical failures on two doors, or something more central? If so what?
I did try to get the lock out of the nearside, but failed as I couldn't locate the tab you need to pull to get the outside handle off. Got hacked off with it so put it back together and left it.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Rick
