Gear box recon

I own RENAULT MEGANE DYNAMIQUE TTOM TCE COUPE (2012 Reg) which has 98k miles on clock. It stopped going into gear and made crunching noise etc and garage diagnosed as gearbox. We agreed to have gearbox reconditioned and garage removed and sent for recon...then after recon the garage refitted...however they noticed was still not going into gear properly in 2nd so sent back to recon company...recon guys then said needs new driveshaft (i think this was part) but was on back order from supplier with no date...my garage in the meantime recovered the gearbox from them and its now in bits in their workshop...they have also tried to find second hand one but to no avail...its now been 3 months and there seems to be no sign of a part arriving soon...i wondered if anyone had similar experience or any suggestions as really need to get car back on road. Are there any suppliers who might have this part?
