Rear brake anti-rattle shims

Postby Kevmcd » Tue Jul 23, 2019 7:42 pm

I’m replacing the rear brake discs and pads heading into my first MOT with a 2006 Megane 2 Sport Tourer dCi 130. One of the anti rattle shims is missing (which has mangled one set of rear pads and the disc, due to rattling, I assume!) and I want to replace them while I have everything apart anyway. I can find a set for pretty much any variant, apart from mine! E-bay, usual parts suppliers etc all draw a blank for my specific model. Any suggestions? Checking with my local main dealer tomorrow.

Hope this isn't too late but have you tried a decent local motor factors?

They should be able to sort you out if you give them your reg and chassis number and, I usually find them cheaper than anywhere else.
