Recently acquired a 55 plate 1.6 petrol Megane convertible that would not start and shows 'Electrical Fault' on the dashboard display. Linked up diagnostic test set which came up with fault code DTC920F47 'refer to service manual. Had no luck with finding out what this code meant. Went on line and found Youtube video to clean out fuse box and ecu. There was no evidence of moisture ingress, but cleaned them out and the battery connections to. Noticed the key card did not lock and unlock the doors. Had a mobile guy round that specialised in this and he advised the key card was working correctly and emitting a signal. Sent off ecu, passenger compartment computer, along with key card for testing. Came back all ok with no faults found. Anyone have any idea's on what the problem is?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Electrical Fault Displaying on Dashboard
Hi
I had much the same problem with my megane 2 2005 and I did much the same as you (stripped down fuse box and cleaned with wd40 also the ECU) to no avail but on a whim I changed the two orange 30amp midi fuses located on the positive battery terminal since then no problems
Hope this helps
