07 Megane clutch not biting after swopping out gear selector cables

My 07 Megane is not engaging gear and seems to be slipping although not stalling when in gear - Recently had my gear selector cables changed and the issue is if I release the pedal fully it does not seem to be biting - I can select gears fine. Please help
