2003 Megane 1.4 Petrol Check Injection Fault

Postby TheGimp » Sun Mar 24, 2019 12:43 pm

Hi all,

So recently I've been having issues with the above fault. When I go to start the car it just turns over and then Check Injection comes up on the dashboard. After a couple of tries trying to start it, it will start fr probably a second or two and then die again. I have to keep this process going until it eventually starts.

I've plugged in my OBD2 scanner and have checked fr faults, none present. I've checked the short term and long term fuel trims and have discovered that the short term is reading -25% to -30% while the long term constantly reads +20%. Both oxygen sensors are reading as normal (manifold sensor 0.1v to 0.7v consistantly & post cat 0.4v).

It is pointing towards an injector issue or a fuel pressure regulator (from past experiences).

Has anyone else had this kind of problem before and/or is it a known issue?

Thanks in advance :-)
