I forgot to mention earlier the left hand side recirculation knob is stuck pointing straight up, can't move it at all so it's stuck on outside air flow. Would this prevent the aircon working? Thought maybe interlocked with aircon system. Or will it not effect ac after I regass it?

Not sure to be honest... I've just found out I've a leak somewhere I'm gonna try some stop leak and see what happens and if it doesn't stop it then I'm giving up it's not worth spending more money on it. I connected clip up to it and when i topped it up it said 6.0bar now its just 2.2 bar.

Hi there, will give the regass one shot! If it doesn't do the job car will have
to go! Pity really just had it serviced etc. And drives spot on. Ah well good luck with the sealer.

How did you go on.? I found the leak on a joint on condenser I did tighten the nut up but can't see it stopping it, I'm not spending anymore money on the air con system. Bloody steering lock issues now never ends with this megane always something.

Hi there took car to garage to get the it regassed they told me it was fully gassed up so needed a new compressor =big buks said no thank you. A person in the car park gave me the phone number of a guy that works from home doing aircon. Gave him a ring and took the car to his house he tested aircon told me it needed regassing? Within 20 minutes he had it running ice cold what a result cost £59 brilliant.
