The Mégane II Owners' Club

I have a 2006 Megane 2 cc 1.5dci. If I make a tightish left turn, or turn to full left lock, the ABS light and spanner come on and the display says 'CHECK ABS'. If I stop the engine and restart, it goes away until the next time I turn left...
Anyone have any ideas? It has me a little baffled. It doesn't seem to affect the brakes but I can see it being a problem when my VRT comes around.
