Can’t get in
I have a small problem with my megane 2 - it’s been standing for a while and the battery has gone flat, I have tried getting in through the passenger door but the mechanism doesn’t do anything! Is it possible to get the bonnet up to put some juice on the battery without having to break any windows? Any help appreciated

What does that actually mean? If you pop the plastic cover off the passenger door handle, insert the emergency key and turn it, it should open the door. No power required. Then pop the bonnet and charge the battery.
Sorted.

Hi,
l had this, because it's rarely used, the emergency key bit needs a soaking with wd40, eventually mine worked.
If it doesn't work try this, remove the engine under cover and clip battery charger to the thick starter wire (+) and other (-) to earth anywhere on engine or body. Once it starts charging, l think it should unlock with fob.
Good luck
Bob.

That's clever. Like it.

Thanks Bob, I’ll give that a try.
As for the key, as above the key will turn but doesn’t do anything and the door will not open.
