White smoke from exhaust.
Hi there. Need help. My Renault 1.9 dci is smoking heavy white smoke and do not want to ref up. What can be the problem?

Re: White smoke from exhost
Could be head gasket or turbo gone.
Take the oil cap off and see if there's a white residue inside the cap, this indicates that water has got mixed with the oil - head gasket gone.

Re: White smoke from exhost
Hi,
look for coolant level dropping or bubbles in coolant tank.
If that seems normal, it's most likely injector problem. You need to do a leak off test to find which one.
When you do find it, please let us know.
Good luck
Bob.
