No working brakelights

Hi.
I have a funny problem on my car (Not)
At My last MOT
My brakelights didn´t shine.
I have recently changed the fan for the ac and then i had to disconnect the pedals.
No to the problem.
When i push the brakepedal nothing happens.
when i disconnect the brakesensor and push it then all lights go black.
is it earth problems or is it the sensor, what do you think?
and oh the third brakelight has been of for a while ordered a new.

Hi,
I think you need to fit a new brake light switch and also check the earths for the lights, possible break in a wire that runs through the tailgate for the third brake light.
Process of elimination, if still the same go back over whatever you did when doing the fan.
