How to remove rear exhaust mount on megane sport 225

Hi All
I own a 55 plate Megane sport 225. I am trying to remove the rear exhaust mount which is held in place with one large bolt and two smaller bolts. Thought this would be an easy job, however the exhaust mount as two small bolts holding it on to the exhaust itself and their facing the rear bumper with little access. As the exhaust fits through the rear bumper I cannot drop the exhaust to get at the two small bolts. Surley I do not have to remove the rear bumper to replace the exhaust mount.

PS This is not he first time I have come across French genius. Anybody changing a bottom wishbone will know this. Having to drop the front radiator sub frame to remove a bolt.

If it's the mount on the passenger side, I did this by removing the rear wheel and going through the arch liner (need to remove a couple of torx screws IIRC and then you can bend the arch liner enough for access).
