Oil Press warning at high revs but clears when Eng hot

Hi all. Just joined forum, so hoping you can help.
Have 2007 Megan 1.6 manual gbox, petrol, convertible.
At idle no issues, revving past 2000rpm in neutral or 3000rpm under load brings on Oil Press light & STOP light.
No indications of lack of pressure audibly and no dramatic water temp rise.
Initial prob occurred on very cold day when oil thick due to car not having been used for a while. Fault went away so put down to viscosity issues with cold.
Recent occurrence just as I got on Motorway with cold eng in normal temp conditions (air temp about 14 deg C). Continued warily to get off Motorway at next exit but after about 5 mins (listening intensely for bad noises - non heard) the warning lights went out!
Changed oil and filter thinking it might be a clogged filter, but still have the problem. Convinced that it's an erroneous fault as can see oil delivery through filler hole, with no unusual sounds, no water temps beyond normal (about a third of scale from cold). Stopping the engine & immediatly restarting clears the lights until the revs are increased past the given values when it reoccurs.
Have ordered a pressure sensor hoping that is the culprit, but would be grateful for the group's combined experience on this problem. Thanks very much in advance.
