Smoke from exhaust

Postby Smiler74UK » Wed Mar 22, 2017 4:26 pm

I have a 1.9 DCi Megane Dynamique,
it went for its mot on Thursday last week, ever since then, there is smoke bellowing from the exhaust once the engine warms up, I thought it may be in need of an oil change, or possibly the oil seals have gone, can anyone offer any suggestions please?

As part of the emissions testing, the engine can get revved quite high..
If the engine was a bit fragile, it could have damaged something.
I'm thinking "turbo", here.. :(

Hi there,
keep checking oil and water levels daily.
What colour is the smoke? this may give us a clue.

When was the oil changed and what oil/filter were used?
Any warning lights recently?
Is it on the original turbo?
