rear tailgate glass exploded

Hi I was working on my megane tonight when the rear tailgate glass shattered all by its self I was no where near it has anyone else ever experienced this problem? And also does anyone have a rear screen for a 54 plate 3 door model cheers

The rear screen was smashed in my old Meg before it was gone. Eventually I found a guy with a van who was repairing screens for our local dealer, and he replaced the glass on my driveway surprisingly cheaply. The job takes under an hour, but the weather has to be dry.
