Battery size?
Will a Bosch 096 s5 battery fit in the 1.5 dci 86 2007 car thanks

I think so, but check with a site which sells batteries by car model. I used the battery you mentioned in 2003 1.9dci which is now gone. These Bosch S5 Batteries are excellent.

Halfords says it should be an "010" type battery, but their prices are CRAZY!
Try eBay instead.. (eBay link removed)

Bosch S5 and Varta Silver have a special profile of the electrodes, which make them less likely to fall apart under high load and wear conditions. In my opinion, these are better value for money in a long run.

Thanks for the replies, the battery does fit even though a lot smaller battery is recommended
