Air in fuel line - where is bleed screw?

Postby CarWoman » Wed Nov 02, 2016 4:17 pm

Hi
Partner having trouble starting his car, had a look and found fuel line full of air bubbles.
It's a 2003 Megane Dynamique 1.5l diesel and I cannot locate the air bleed screw anywhere and can find no diagrams on the web.
Anyone able to help?
Many thanks

Not sure this is exactly what you want...

On my 1.9dci I had air in the system following fuel filter change. Took outlet pipe off the filter, used the priming bulb to push diesel through the filter until clean fuel came out of the outlet pipe. Reattached and car started fine.

Helped that I already had the bumper off as access is tight.
