I have a strange fault with the Megane - Both front door speakers are not working? The dash tweeters work fine on both sides, just the ones in the door cards.
What is the wiring on these speakers - do they have a separate AMP?

No separate amp.
In mine the speakers failed due to probably corroded contacts in the plugs on the back of the speakers. Took m off, sprayed the plugs with contact cleaner spray, put it back together and it worked again.
Had the same with the window motor twice, and the boot switch. All worked again after cleaning of the plugs and pins.
