I just finished fixing the "only works on max" blower fan issue.
I bought the replacement part from ebay, via a UK based seller. I'm not prepared to wait a month for delivery..
Here's the part I used..So I had a good look at this video:

Before you start, get yourself a torch and some torx screwdrivers or keys. All the screws are torx. It's very tight in there, so no big handles..
It's fairly easy overall, but everything is a total pig to get at. I get the idea Renault don't want us to fix things ourselves.
First get the glovebox out. This involves five or six screws. One is hidden under a plastic tab, two (or three) inside the glovebox, and two hidden under the cover on the left. You need to remove both left-hand-side trims.
Once that's out, pop the bottom right cover. You still will not be able to see the resistor block. Look for the thick black and red wires. The resistor kit comes with replacement red/black wiring.
You need to remove the two screws holding the resistor block. These are a pig to get at. Just persevere with it.
Once those are out, you need to pop the connector on the other end of the wire. There is a retaining clip at the bottom which you can pop with your finger. now rotate the connector (the pivot is at the top). Once it's far enough out, the connector will pull off.
Now fit the new part, it's just the reverse of removing the old one. Be prepared to scrape arms and knuckles etc.
Test the blower motor before you re-assemble the glovebox.
When I tested mine, the car refused to start, In fact, it was worse than that: it made a sizzling noise and the "service" light came on. Oh dear. It turns out I had had the doors open, which meant the interior lights were on, and the battery drained.
Easily fixed: that battery charger I bought years ago saved the day again. Incidentally, how do you get the battery out? I just charged it in-situ.
I advise you to disconnect the battery before you start messing with the electrics.
I now need to enter the radio code again.
Anyway, the blower now works on all settings. It's bloody noisy though, is that normal?
Now, onto the non-working electric rear window..
