Hi guys,
The bug has bitten again and I feel the need to mess about. All the roads in Sheffield are being resurfaced so if ever there was a time to drive a lowered car it is now.
I asked the wife if she wanted the Espace and if i could have the meg back so I could slam it properly. Unsurprisingly she said no, grow up!
So I'm looking at getting some 19s for the Espace with either 235/ 245 40 19. I'm aware 20s for no problem but i need to retain an element of practicality as it's the family wagon and towcar for our caravan.
Also looking at some H&R 35mm springs as they're supposed to be the best.
So after many failed internet searches my question is this:
does anyone have experience towing with a lowered car? Do lowering springs compress greater under load or would the stiffness make for a better tow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Peace to any haters.

Re: lowering towcar
Update if anyone is interested,
Sent a few emails asking about springs and finally got a reply saying hr springs have the same load rating as standard springs and tow capacity remains same as standard, however will be 35 mm lower.
Problem/ question solved.
See you int the mod/ gallery section soon.
