Hi guys,
I have just bought a facelift megane DCI GT and wanted to upgrade the stereo to a Pioneer single din. I have just tried fitting the stereo, however, it will not fit easy. I am aware i may need a facia to hide the gaps, but as fitment of the stereo goes,im struggling. It will fit in at a push, but there is nowhere (that i can see) that the stereo fits to.
I have spent a few hours searching for help, but cant really find anything.
Can anybody help?
Thansk in adavance.

Usually the wires kink up stopping the radio going all the way home.
Take the glovebox out its only a few screws.
This gives you access to rear of radio to ease the cables out of the way.

Thanks Steve, it's not the wires, it seems the facia is pretty tight. I have purchased a replacement facia for aftermarket stereos, fingers crossed it works, though still can't see where the cage of the new stereo sits

Re: Need advice on fitting aftermarket stereo
At the rear of the facia opening is there like a oval protrusion which is part of the support for the old radio?
You may need to cut this away.
