My egr as failed. EML is on can turn it off but comes back on few minutes later. Just looking at removing it. There is a black box over the top with a hose attached think its from the turbo. How do I move this out of the way.

I found this the other day when searching for a bit of help with mine before realising it was for the 1.5 
Looks like the black box you refer to is the air box, which just pulls off once the jubilee clip on the inlet pipe is removed.

The whole black box and turbo pipe can come off as its fastened on with jubilee clips also the valve is no easy task to take off mine had to be chiselled off and the new one just slid in
