1.9dci Door lights won't turn off

Postby welbeck » Mon Oct 12, 2015 11:45 am

So I get in my 1.9dci on Saturday and start to drive then I notice that the lights in the doors are still on, I pulled over made sure both doors were closed turned the ignition off, locked it and unlocked it but they are still on all the time, in the end I have disconnected them having tried disconnecting the battery in the hope that it would somehow reset whatever was keeping the lights switched on.
Any ideas?

Are the underfloor bins closed properly?

No, after opening them and closing them again it's cured it, thank you.

hi i had this same problem and after searching the net foumd no solution. also my bins didn't have the switches. i recently had my rear window smashed. i took my door card iff and hoovered all the glass all the guy had to do is fit the glass and replace the door card. turned out the usless funked trapped a wire for lights. repaired this and all back to normal.
