window faults MEGANE 1.5 DCI

I've got an issue with both front windows.

Firstly, the front driver window does not operate at all, I checked the fuse and it had blown, replaced the fuse and it blew again, replaced with a slightly bigger fuse and it blew. Any one have any ideas why this does not work at all?

Secondly, my passenger front window will always go up but using the passenger switch doesn't always go down, one day it will work fine, other days it won't work what so ever, I've tried checking out switch (door handle) by completely removing it and nothing appears to be wrong with it... all connection appear fine leading me to belive it may be something to do with moisture. Any ideas again?
