I've been getting exhaust fumes entering the cab when idling (not really noticeable when driving along, only when stationary).
I had this investigated today and it seems that the corrugated pipe between the egr and the exhaust(?) is cracked. Renault are saying this is a known problem and as such, in the last 6 months or so they've developed a modified part. It's a bit expensive at £103+VAT for the pipe and another £5 for the gasket. I know the car is old now, but if it's a known problem, should they contribute towards it? Also, will this be a dealer only part or is there anywhere else I can try (have already emailed RPD - awaiting response).
