Hi
My son has an 05 Megane II Which has faulty front passenger window
I took the working regulator from the drivers side and tried it in the passenger side but NG.
Figured it was the motor which is unusual so bought one and tried that with working regulator and surprise, NG
No slight clicks or anything and no sounds at all when window operated. Tried both door button itself and also from drivers side button and both sides NG
Cant seem to get any voltage with a DVM when operating the window and checking pins in the regulator connector
Whilst I have the working regulator out of the drivers side I bought a 3rd party cube type one of Ebay which works fine in the drivers side
Could it be a wiring fault somewhere?
Looks like there has been a fair amount of water got in there in the past
Cheers
Window regulator, motor, or something else?.........

Yes, it can be... Start with the door connector. It can be all corroded and green inside. I pack them with insulating silicone grease for protection from water.

Hi Alex
Do you mean the connector to the window regulator? That is a bit green to be honest. It has loads of black electrical tape around it maybe to keep out water.
Cheers

Mine was the black wire on the door connector as said above, was all green and corroded but had to go poking around to find the broken wire!

I mostly meant the connector in the opening of the door. The connector to the regulator can be at fault as well (a wide pin there tends to overheat).
