renault megane dci 1.5

hey all just bought my self a Renault megane dci 1.5 2004 all fine and sound apart from the spanner light on the display its getting on my nerves ive looked on youtube to get rid but only seen it for the 1.6 megane is there a way to get rid of it on mine oh when I go through the menus I don't get the option of service due only get the normal options plus one saying "change oil" can I remove the spanner icon thanks for the help.

If it's a 2004 it's more than likely a Meg II,if it's a Mk I it's a very late Mk I.

In any case; moved to problems forum where you'll have more chance of answers ;)

I would say that whatever you saw to get rid of it on the megane 1.6 should do the job on your 1.5dci. I also have this car, same year aswell. Is the spanner symbol to do with having a service because if it is I think its a case of holding in the button on the end of the stalk. Should be on youtube.

Afaik there is a sequence of buttons to go through to get rid of service lights, cheers.
