The Mégane II Owners' Club

Had this problem for last couple of weeks now just cant get rid of it.

Car starts fine from cold and drives around all fine but if i turn it off when cars at normal temperature it wont start again tried several times in a row it turns over but dont fire.
If i keep pumping the accerlating pedal i can sometimes get it to start.

This started happening after i put car back together after cleaning engine bay and removing aircon.

I have replaced the fuel filter and the crankshaft sensor and neither has solved the problem.

What engine etc do you have?

Can you hear the fuel pump come on before you start it? Reason I ask is I had similar problem to you with my last car, fuel pump sometimes wouldn't activate when engine was warm. Could never find out why, in the end I had to splice another cable to the fuel pump to plug into lighter socket

1.9dci what sort of noise am i listening for.
