Are you sure it's the uch that's got water in it ?
The most common one is the UPC that's located NSF inner wing area in the engine bay.
These often get water damaged and cause all sorts of electrical issues. If this is the case you will be able to just plug it all in and start and drive the vehicle but it will need to have Clip plugged in to configure the alternator type.
If however it is the uch that's needed its a little more complicated. Keys will need to be programmed and there are a lot of other configurations that need to be checked/changed depending on vehicle spec.

On your 1.5 dci if your model has the 5 pin relay which sits directly below the (uch) colour pink if so then you require the (upc)marked n2 this controls the high speed coolant blower. On models requiring the (upc) marked n3 the relay is intergrated into the uch you can just check the no's on your old 1 Recently I fitted a new (upc) from Renault total price £165 all in plug & play Hth Regards fredcamp2
