Pedal Potentiometer problem

Postby welbeck » Tue Jun 10, 2014 7:20 pm

My 2003 1.9dci suddenly went into limp mode when I went round a corner with the "Check Injection" on the dispay, I got home and stopped it when I tried it again it was fine but it eventually came back a couple of days later. I changed the fuel filter for all this was filthy it made no difference then it was tested and it came back that the pedal potentiometer was faulty. Today that was swapped but it is still showing the same fault, my mechanic is scratching his head, can anybody shed any light on my problem please?

Did he check the circuits as described in the factory repair manual in our sticky thread above this one? You need the file MR366MEGANE1.pdf
